This blog is for the parts of creator marketing that deserve a written record.

We write about creator outreach, pricing, rights, reporting, and the operating choices that shape a campaign before the first post goes live. Some posts are benchmarks from our own anonymized work. Some are templates a brand team can copy into a brief, contract, or outreach sequence. Some are notes on what breaks when a creator program moves from one-off posts to a real campaign system.

The best pieces usually start with a specific question: which creator market replies, when does a lead go stale, what should a rate card include, when does gifting become paid work, or what should a report tell the next brief?

That is the standard we want here: less theory, more operating evidence.

Reid writes about what actually happens inside creator marketing campaigns — the ones our team runs, the numbers we track, and what they mean for the brands and creators on either end. He was trained in economics at UBC, and favours empirical, reproducible analysis over hot takes.
