Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how UniSong Creator Studio ("UniSong," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on unisongcreator.com. It complements our Privacy Policy and is designed to give you a full view of what is stored in your browser, why, and how to change your mind at any time.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Local storage and session storage serve a similar purpose using a different browser API. Together we refer to these as "cookies and similar technologies."
They generally fall into two groupings:
- First-party — set by the domain you are visiting (in our case,
unisongcreator.com). - Third-party — set by another domain whose code is loaded on the page (for example, Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity).
Cookies can also be classified by lifetime: session cookies are deleted when you close the browser, while persistent cookies remain until they expire or are manually cleared.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
UniSong Creator Studio uses only two categories of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function and protect public tools from abuse — for example, remembering whether you have accepted or rejected analytics tracking, and applying anonymous usage limits to the email verifier. These cannot be turned off through our consent banner.
- Analytics. Help us understand aggregate visitor behavior — which pages are popular, how visitors arrive, and where visitors encounter usability problems. Google Analytics is loaded only after you grant consent through our cookie banner. Microsoft Clarity loads on production pages for usability diagnostics. We do not use analytics tools for ad targeting or retargeting.
We do not use advertising, retargeting, social-media tracking, or behavioral-profiling cookies. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Cookies and Storage We Set
The full inventory of cookies and similar technologies that may be stored in your browser when visiting our site is listed below. This list is reviewed whenever we add or remove a tool that touches the browser.
If Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity begins setting additional cookies on a future date — for example, if either vendor updates its SDK — we will update this table accordingly. We do not intentionally enable Google Ads, Google Signals, Microsoft Advertising, retargeting, or ad-personalization features on this site.
4. Managing Your Consent
On your first visit we present a consent banner asking whether to enable Google Analytics cookies. Google Analytics is wired to Google Consent Mode v2, with all tracking-adjacent storage defaulted to denied until you accept. Microsoft Clarity loads on production pages independently of the banner so we can diagnose site usability issues.
You can change your choice at any time by:
- Clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page on this site. The consent banner will reappear and your selection will overwrite the previous choice.
- Clearing the
unisong-consent-v2entry from your browser's local storage. The next page load will treat you as a first-time visitor and the banner will be shown again. - Clearing all browser storage for our site, which will delete the consent record together with any analytics cookies.
Withdrawing consent stops further Google Analytics data from being collected. Data that was previously collected while consent was granted remains in our Google Analytics property, and Clarity data remains in our Microsoft Clarity project; you can request deletion under your data-subject rights (see Section 7 below).
5. Browser-Level Controls
You can also control cookies globally through your browser, independently of our consent banner. Most modern browsers let you:
- View and delete individual cookies and storage entries.
- Block third-party cookies entirely, which would suppress some analytics cookies on our site even before our banner runs.
- Send a
Sec-GPC: 1("Global Privacy Control") signal — we treat this as a signal to keep Google Analytics off, equivalent to choosing "Reject" in our banner.
Vendor instructions for the major browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Disabling strictly-necessary storage may cause the consent banner to reappear on every visit, but will not otherwise affect your ability to use the site.
6. Third-Party Services Referenced From Our Site
Some pages link to third-party services — for example, our scheduling page on Cal.com, our LinkedIn profile, or our outreach domains listed on Official Domains. Following one of these links navigates you to the third party's own site, where their cookie practices apply, not ours.
The contact form on /contact/ submits over HTTPS to Web3Forms, which forwards your submission to our inbox. Web3Forms processes the submission to relay the message but does not set any cookie on our domain. Their privacy practices are documented at web3forms.com/privacy.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are the third-party analytics services used across the site. Google Analytics runs after consent. The data Google Analytics processes on our behalf is governed by Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy and the GA4 documentation at support.google.com/analytics/answer/11593727. Microsoft Clarity processes behavioral analytics such as page interactions, heatmaps, and session diagnostics under Microsoft's privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com; Microsoft documents Clarity cookies and consent behavior at learn.microsoft.com.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data that has been associated with you through analytics cookies or Clarity recordings, to change your Google Analytics consent choice, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
The frameworks most likely to apply to a visitor of our site are:
- Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (PIPL) — relevant to visitors located in mainland China. Our banner and policy disclose the analytics services we use and let visitors control Google Analytics storage.
- EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / UK GDPR) — relevant to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. Visitors can contact us to exercise rights related to analytics identifiers or recordings associated with them.
- Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) — relevant to visitors located in Australia.
To exercise any of these rights — including a request to delete previously collected analytics data — please contact us at legal@unisongcreator.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove a tool that affects browser storage, or when applicable law changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and — where the change introduces a new consent-controlled category of tracking — we will re-prompt you before the new consent-controlled tracking begins.
